Hi,
Just wondering if it is possible to fade in and out videos with VenueMagic?
Currently when the video starts it just appears with no effect and disappears with no effect. I'm using AtmosFX ghost projections so I need it to fade in and out to look decent.
Many thanks,
Lewis

Re: Video Fading
VenueMagic plays video and will synchronize lights and prop control to a video but it will not do video effects. You will need to use a video editing software for that.

Re: Video Fading
Is audio fading currently supported, or would that need to be edited ahead, the same as the video? Thank you!
Re: Video Fading
Yes! Audio fading is supported in various forms throughout the software. You can search "fading" or "audio fading" and similar permutations in the built-in help manual (F1) for how to implement it. For example:
[- it is possible to extend audio clips to any length with the cross fade-back feature. Foreground settings will allow you to choose how many seconds audio clips will fade in/out when switching timelines.]
[*]- Audio clips can have fading applied at their beginning and end or have an overlap between clips in the same audio track to fade between them during playback.
[*]-The volume level and left/right pan can be manually changed with the envelope editor for any audio clip in order to allow you to customize a fade effect anywhere in the audio.
The VenueMagic Getting Started Tutorials will walk you through the fundamental functions of the program. These ones explicitly cover audio tracks, including the cross fade-back feature mentioned above: https://youtu.be/1CvrjLpZNSk (audio tracks part one) https://youtu.be/19yEqDhjKk4 (audio tracks part 2) https://youtu.be/2Om2aVgocic (cross fade-back)
Please feel free to contact VenueMagic support if you need any more help!
